Guiding Exceptional Learners Toward Brighter Futures Together Every Day

Since 1997, Providence Treatment Center has bridged the gap between overcrowded classrooms and residential facilities, delivering intensive, compassionate day treatment that keeps children learning, healing, and living at home.

Providence Treatment Center is the purposeful middle path: a highly structured therapeutic day school where behavior is understood as communication and every lesson, therapy, and relationship prepares students to rejoin their communities.

Our Founding Purpose And Promise

Before we opened our doors, families confronting severe behavioral, emotional, or learning hurdles had only two choices: mainstream classrooms unequipped for crisis or inpatient programs that uprooted their childโ€™s life. Providence Treatment Center was born to create a
healthier option. We deliver clinical-level care inside an accredited academic setting, maintaining extremely low staff-to-student ratios. The result is a supportive, predictable environment where youth build adaptive skills, earn academic credit, and practice success while
in the community.

Inside The PTC Approach Framework

People Who Power Progress Here

Our multidisciplinary team is the cornerstone of every breakthrough. Certified special educators collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, speech therapists, and BCBA-credentialed behaviorists to weave academics and therapy into a single, cohesive day. Most staff have over ten years of field experience and undergo continual crisis-prevention and trauma-informed training. Low ratiosโ€”often one adult for one student and small groupโ€”allow us to notice the smallest victories, adjust in real time, and celebrate growth alongside each family.
